Cancellations and Refunds

Flower Quality and Maintenance

At Janine Florist we are committed to providing the best quality products and services. It is important to understand that flowers are a perishable and natural product that may be affected by external factors, such as their immediate indoor environment and external weather conditions. At Janine Florist we ensure only the freshest and highest quality of flowers are used for your orders. Unfortunately once we dispatch our flowers a number of variables may result in their longevity being reduced.

Care instructions must be followed thoroughly in order to increase the longevity of your flowers. To help in prolonging the life of the flowers, we recommend cutting the stems on an angle and changing the water in the vase every two days. Extreme changes in climate may also have adverse effects on the flowers, air conditioning and extreme heat should be avoided. Unfortunately, with all the possible variables, it is difficult for Janine Florist to guarantee the flower quality in every case.

Return Policy

On average, the flowers should last between 3 and 7 days. However, we do understand that there may be circumstances where you have concerns regarding your flowers meeting expectations. In these circumstances we suggest you directly contact us within 24 hours of receiving the flowers to discuss a favorable resolution to your concerns.

Should you be unsatisfied with the quality of the flowers, Janine Florist will be happy to resend new flowers, provided that all care instructions have been followed. Janine Florist reserves the right to request photos or images of the original flowers. Janine Florist requires that any dissatisfaction with the freshness of the flowers be communicated to us within 24 hours of delivery. Regretfully, we cannot arrange a resend of fresh flowers to you if the original flowers are disposed of or images are unavailable.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason an order needs to be cancelled, please contact Janine Florist as soon as possible.

Cancellations are subject to the following conditions:

• Orders which have left with our couriers are unable to be cancelled.
• Orders which have not yet been prepared by us may be cancelled.

Re-Delivery

If a delivery has been attempted unsuccessfully and requires a second or subsequent delivery to be made for reasons outside of our control (e.g. an incorrect address has been provided to us) a $15 redelivery fee will apply. If Janine Florist is in any way responsible for the redelivery this redelivery fee will not apply.

Refunds

We understand that the orders you request are very important and should be delivered to the recipient as per your instructions and specifications. However, we do understand that there may be circumstances where you have concerns regarding your order meeting expectations. For that reason we ask that you contact us directly to discuss a favorable resolution to your particular situation.

Note: All refunds for orders placed online or over the telephone are credited back the original credit card on which the order was purchased.

Flower Delivery

GENERAL DELIVERY INFORMATION

Delivery Charges

The delivery fee is up to $15 and is inclusive in the total price charged on your order.

Delivery Times

Available delivery times depend on the time you place your order and how far away the location is from our dispatch, we do within reason attempt to meet special requirements.

Our normal delivery times are by 5pm to business addresses and by 7pm for residential addresses. During Special Events we are unable to offer special delivery times.

Weekend and Public Holiday Deliveries

We deliver on Saturdays. Deliveries are by 5pm or by 7pm and deliveries are not available for all locations. Orders for Saturday must be received by 10am for same day delivery.

We do not deliver on Sundays except on special occasions.

We do not deliver on Public Holidays unless otherwise stated.

DELIVERING YOUR FLOWER ORDER

Sending Flowers to a Business Address

Please check that the recipient will be available on the day up until 5pm at the delivery location. Phone numbers are essential for the guaranteed delivery of your flowers. Janine Florist is not responsible for orders not collected by the recipient on the delivery day from the Reception area of the business.

Sending Flowers to a Residential Address

Please note, if the recipient is not home and the courier deems it safe to leave the order, it will be left at the address.

Sending Flowers to a School Address

Janine Florist must be made aware of a delivery time of by 3pm for school deliveries. Please consider when school holidays are on when placing your order.

What happens if I supply the wrong address?

Please be very careful in providing us with correct and up to date address information.

If you provide us with an incorrect address and we deliver your order as per your instructions, then we accept no responsibility for the mistake.
